How it began?

Unhealthy food habits, adulterated food, toxicity of food preservatives are no match for our ‘workaholism’. There’s no work-life balance and many individuals are trapped in the ‘need’ to live beyond their means, affecting their physical and mental health. This is replicated within family members and has allowed ailments to take ground.

Covid-19 has exacerbated daily routine and disorders such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, etc. are everywhere. People visit their physicians with these issues and are prescribed one or more commonly used medications. Many of these have an exhaustive list of side effects. This way of life is unsustainable and cannot be the present or future of our health care.

Alternatives to allopathic medications such as Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Homeopathy, Reiki, etc. have been practiced for decades. However, their popularity is largely dependent upon an individual’s own values, beliefs, and philosophical orientations toward health and life. None of these options has been used holistically and / or tailored to the individual.

Amidst these alternatives, Ayurveda emerged as the game changing life management science offering a holistic solution bringing the balance in body, mind and consciousness. Ayurveda is also preventative such that it helps strengthen the health of those who are healthy. Bringing this health science to the masses and sharing its benefits is now the primary objective of Adarsh. As an Ayurveda Wellness Counselor, he determines an individual’s body constitution, current health profile and imbalances. Then he prescribes a diet and lifestyle management protocol to establish harmony in body, mind and consciousness.
